I spent a year working at at EY as part of my degree, I worked as a technology consultant, providing tech-enabled solutions to some of the UKs largest companies.
I co-founded MySociety during my first year of university, since then we have raised funding and are in the process of developing an online platform for university societies and clubs.
Throughout my time at university have held a number of society permissions, including President of the Computer Science Society, Vice President of the Current Affairs and Business Society, and Vice President of the Google Developers Student CLub.
I worked as a software development intern in the summer of 2024. During my time I built an MVP app for digitally scanning keys using Ionic and Laravel.
Learned how technology works at the bank and the value that it provides. I also won the competitive code for good hackathon.
Node JS backend that monitored the prices of cryptocurrencies and searched for trends. Could place 'paper' trades to mimic trading. Built a React JS front end to monitor the system.
Developed for use in websites I build for clients, Brisk CMS works as a bridge between a very light CMS that requires technical expertiese, and a more heavy-weight CMS. Perfect for the small businesses that use it.
